Myddelton House

Sector: Conservation and Heritage

Client: Lee Valley Regional Park Authority

Value: £500K

Restoration of the gardens back to their heyday when Edward Augustus Bowles lived in Myddelton House from 1865 to 1954.

The works involved the recreation of the glasshouses, including a lean-to glasshouse with two environments, a sunken glasshouse and a vinery.

The contract also involved the demolition of three existing 1960’s glasshouses, returning the footprint areas to a condition suitable for horticultural planting beds.
